Dick specialises in tax and financial planning for small and medium sized companies and partnerships, providing management support to directors/partners and general guidance on a wide range of business issues. He also provides technical expertise on corporate reorganisations, acquisitions/disposals and business valuations when required and estate and inheritance tax planning for personal tax clients, including the use of family trusts. Dick originally trained with a city firm of accountants, before moving on to Price Waterhouse in 1974. He became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in January 1979 and set up his own partnership five years later in January 1984.
Outside work, Dick is a keen follower of most sports and, while his services are no longer required on the pitch, he maintains a continuing interest in rugby as a Vice President of his rugby club and as a debenture holder at Twickenham. Dick also enjoys travelling and has visited many parts of the world on business and pleasure, sometimes even managing to combine the two. An occasional golfer and a keen gardener when time allows. |
