The Lawford Company provides business consultancy, accountancy, audit and taxation services to small and medium sized businesses as well as financial services to the firm's private clients.
Dick Smith left a medium-sized London practice in 1984 in order to start up Dymek, Smith & Silcock, a forerunner to the present firm "the Lawford Company". Michael Woolford joined him in partnership in 1986 and Tony Redknap became a partner in October 1994, when the partnership became established in its present form. In 1997, the firm expanded with the acquisition of Shields Longden & Co, a similar sized practice based in West London.
The firm is internationally associated with Kingston Management Group, who are based in Guernsey. This may be of particular interest to the non-domiciled and those moving to or investing in the United Kingdom .
The aim is to provide a very high level of service to a select number of clients. This is to ensure that clients receive our fullest attention and so that we are able to answer their questions quickly and comprehensively. We are a broadly skilled, enthusiastic and highly motivated team and nothing is ever too much trouble. We invest substantially in IT and the latest software to provide the best business environment in which to process client data. Our staff are fully trained on all products including IRIS, FINAX PRO, SAGE and QUICKBOOKS and we are also fully windows XP compatible .
We believe that there remains a knowledge gap in many small and medium sized enterprises, which cannot afford full-time financial expertise but which would really benefit and value someone answering their day-to-day problems and providing the required financial expertise. We hope to fill this gap by providing small and medium sized businesses with a virtual Financial Director. |
